Yes, I know it's not supported, but I'm reporting this as an observed bug, because it makes the HP pretty unusable.
Sometime after January 25, 2020, the headset image on the HP Reverb G2 became uncomfortable to view, the left and right images were different enough so that stereoscopic fusion was very difficult.
To illustrate the problem, I used Steam VR's "Display VR View" to mirror the headset images to a desktop window, and captured the window contents as an mp4 video using OBS Studio. From the mp4, I took PNGs from movie frames showing the problem. I've attached two PNGs, which show a side view and a palms-up view of my avatar's hand.

HammondWry June 11, 2021. This is still a problem. To better illustrate the problem, I've taken two screenshots of the round baseball that can be found in your Home space. The one taken from the Oculus Rift is perfectly round, but the one taken from the HP Reverb G2 is elongated horizontally. Ugh!
