glTF support via Open GL4?

I remember asking this before during Q&A Live, however cannot remember what the response was, With regards to this being something maybe supported further down the line on the roadmap.

OpenGL4 supports the use of glTF import, With it being open source and a popular alternative found in blender 2.80+, would this option be considered at a later stage, This format is also available on sketchfab as a Download option, I'm already aware of the overhaul it would require on the back-end to add this kind of import  integration but I thought to raise this topic again should this be noted for consideration at a later point in time, Thanks.
