I have the Valve Index with 3 Vive Trackers, and have never been able to get full body tracking to work. This may affect other headsets using the Vive Trackers, so the online documentation should be updated to indicate that this feature may be broken. This will save both the user and Sansar time and effort.
I can confirm this to worked back in 2019 but now is broken .. any intention to ix this?
It is working for me, have been using full body tracking (FBT) for several months now with the Index. There were FBT fixes put in place for the initial CyberDog event a few months back. I don't know if you still have to edit the config file as described in the Support suggestions, I had previously performed the edits and left them in place after the fixes were rolled out.
The main anomaly that I've noticed but haven't reported is that when I first materialize in my home space, my feet and legs are twisted about 45 degrees to the left instead of being straight ahead. This self-fixes once I leave the home space or if I go to my look book and either switch or edit the current avatar.
