Hi Emma, Sansar currently doesn't support the Oculus Quest. There are currently no plans to support it in the immediate future since the Oculus quest is not powerful enough to run Sansar.
Cloud computing is the only thing that will get Sansar level quality on wireless VR.
By my estimations we have a few years to go.

@cara : That's sad. The Oculus Quest is probably the VR Headset everyone wants and everyone have. You should really have a look at this one as it is one of the most powerfull and comfortable wireless VR headset.
Sansar with some optimisation / downgrade in texture quality for Oculus Quest would make happy many players ! Hope you will get your devs, staff & commercial in touch of my, if it isn't "our", opinions.
As of now, Sansar would be the best game in Oculus Quest if released. :)
Totally agree, would be happy with a downgrade in quality to be able to play this on the Quest...not giving up hope. :o)
The quest cable will be coming out in December and will be able to link the quest to the PC making some Rift games available if there is enough interest maybe some of the creators could create a world for quest users?
I know I would be down to help...
Today 31.12.2019, Sansar works with Oculus Quest in VR-Mode and with the controlers, too. You have to link the headset with the computer and activate the Beta - Version of Oculus Link. Than Log into the virtual desktop of your computer and download the Oculus software. in settings activate third party applications. In Sansar you have enable the VR - options and restart. Greetings Stan
This is no longer true if you have Oculus Link and a gaming PC to tether with. No, it's not wireless, but it's a single cord and as someone who came from the Vive with a huge tether cord, it's a great improvement.
Oculus Quest2 with Virtual Desktop Streamer works ,with Sidequest and a fast WLAN ( WIFI 6 ) in max resolution also wireless. ( with a fast GPU )
Take some time finding the options to get buildin mic working.
I have Sansar now working wirelessly on the Oculus Quest 2, though it seems I must use SteamVR to run in VR mode, but how do I get the internal mic to work?
If you use Virtual Desktop (Streamer) you has to activate
on the SteamPc
- "Auto-Select Microphone" in the Virtual Desktop Streamer Config
- "Virtual Desktop Audio" in Sansar Settings->Audio->Mic ->VR Device
on the Quest
- "Microfon Passthrough" in Virtual desktop -> Settings ->Audio
How did you get Sansar onto Oculus Quest 2? Is there an APK I can download to sideload onto the Quest 2 with SideQuest?
