Hi, I have a GeForce RTX 2070 videocard and 24 thread Rizen Threadripper CPU, the game runs fluid but the sound is terrible, I listen like interference or something, I can´t understand sounds, what could be the problem?

pantone Hi there,
Hard to say but the video card installs it's own NVIDEA High Definition Audio. Maybe you running also an external/internal soundcard or onboard (mobo) sound card or both.
Check in Device manager under "Devices for audio, sound and games" and see wich are there. Maybe disable/delete some to prevent problems. (disable onboard video via bios)
I have also 2070RTX and have 2 installed:
1. High Definition Audio-device (windows)
2. NVIDEA High Definition Audio (nvidea)
For the rest.. cables or cards close to each other, bad connections, grounding. etc... all can cause strange sounds. High load can also give problems with sound but you say it runs very smooth,.
At last you can try to set your volume levels in Sansar louder and your system sound level lower... maybe that reduce it :)

JulianaCroft Hi, thanks for your answer, I have 5 options to sound, one of them is M-Audio external sound device used for ProTools, you think that´s the problem? because this problem I only have it with this game, not with any other game, I think Sansar Team must make a patch to fix sound problems because I have talk with other players in sansar and they have the same sound problem, why should I uninstall sound devices if I use it all in diferent circunstances? I will not play anymore untill a patch comes out to fix the sound. Ty pantone

pantone I want share some experience just for some info.
A few weeks ago I connected my active studio monitors (KRK RP8 speakers) with 3 cheap (1 dollar) mini jack cables and a cheap audio splitter. I couldn't connect my good cables because I removed my AudioCard for the RTX2070 earlier.
Now on one moment for some reason I got my volume knob on the back of the speakers pretty loud so I heared a little bit system sound...
When I started Sansar a very disturbing loud noise scared me... sounds like high load system noise.. it was constant, but changing.. it reacts on mouse movements and loading and screen changes in Sansar.
Offcourse I cranked up the volume too much this way... but now I can clearly hear that, let's test some! (changing windows volume slider does not matter this was pure system sound not regulated by the slider... if 0 or 100%.. same noise.)
Opening Photoshop... nearly no extra noise lets say 1
Opening Blender... not much extra noise 1
Opening Second Life... wow okee much more noise 3x more noise
Opening Sansar again... Ah.... 6x times more system noise... really ugly sound!
So in the end it seems to be one of the cheap audio cables that picking up that sound.. bad shielded or I don't know. When I removed the bad audio cable and change it to another the sound went down a lot.
But I now realise that Sansar has much more system noise than other programs. Probably because it needs a lot allready at starting up but also in idle Home the noise is on.
But with normal volume on my speakers and other sounds playing I do barely hear it.. setting Sansar volumes higher helps then too.
--- Sound destortion in the Nexus ---
Lately I entered the Nexus and I did experience sound distortion, very ugly... looks like the software can't handle all the voices and sounds together..
Is that is what you mean with your sound problem JulianaCroft?
Do you have the same sound problems when you are alone in other experiences/worlds? -
flamingobingo I am having this issue as well. I really want to enjoy Sansar but with these ugly noises I cannot. I have tried everything I can think of to remedy the problem but alas I cannot.
