Avatar & Interactive Items - Animating Holdable Items & Script Trigger Avatar Animation

To help increase the immersive feel of objects in Sansar, allow for scripted objects to trigger custom avatar animations. To go along with the triggered animation, allow objects with keyframes to animate while being held by the player.


On the Avatar's Side

Player picks up gun > play hand holding gun animation > if player shoots > play hand pulling trigger animation

On the Object's side:

Player shoots > play gun trigger pulled back animation


I made a pair of Scissors and made a simple animation with the default female avatar available for download:
