I am unable to get the login screen to appear. It just goes black after the updater finishes and the main Sansar window appears.
I already tried reinstalling. No change. :(
I have no idea what could be causing this. I was using Sansar just fine only days ago. I haven't updated or changed my video card or anything on my computer really.
Hey so I figured out the problem.
It was my VPN.
I currently live in a country where Sansar does not work without a VPN. The one I was using before was causing this "bug" somehow. I think it may have been blocking whatever server Sansar uses for login.
I switched to a different VPN and suddenly, the black screen was gone.
So yeah. If you ever visit a country where Sansar is blocked, and you encounter this problem, try a different VPN.
Think it's not your VPN.
I got the same black screen after updating.
Did hear the music but no image.
A simple reboot fixed it for me.
is this forum dead alreaady? just install it via steam 20 minute ago, cant even play just blackscreen and music. FIX this. my spect is enought .
Sure is dead. Some virtual private networks do filter out some domains, especially ones with ad blockers, malware protection and so on. So just in case that's the issue, just try to do white-listing if possible for that matter, not saying that could predominantly be the cause of your issue.
Can also try uninstalling Sansar and also deleting the Sansar files and folders within the registry. Worked around the time when I used to have issues. Can't really assist as I no longer have the Sansar client installed on my PC.
