I'm sorry if this has been posted before. If found there were plans to implement this feature but I'm unable to find a recent update or a request for this feature in the feature requests.
So, any update on syncing youtube videos (from a playlist) for every user visiting my experience at the same time?
Fantastic question. Right now the only “usual” videos that are synced are livestreams. But sharing a video in sync is the usual thing you’d expect, right?
So, at the recent Roddenberry “Instant” short film screening, we used experimental tech that basically increments the YouTube timecodes, so late joiners see it in sync. It’s still an internal thing we’re testing and does not work with playlists (poses many more complications), but we definitely are keeping your request in mind, as we’d like to make it a lot easier in the future.

Very excited to read this is still on the roadmap. I'm still hoping on playlists because this would greatly improve the experience I'm working on but I understand the difficulties. Looking forward to see the single video feature go public.
Do you have any idea on an approximate timeframe?
I'll be happy to try it out and provide feedback should that be helpful.
Sanka, heyhey! I don't have an ETA on this yet but we're very much aware of how broadly useful it'd be. Right now it requires an intermediary web tool, but we'd like to make it seamless in the client. So... as they say in the movies, stay tuned... :D

Indeed, that's the one.
If you visit my build you'll see that the music is very important. It would be nice if all visitors (if any come ;-) hear the same music at the same time. (more or less, not by the millisecond, of-course). So conversations can be like "I like this track, do you know what it is?" instead about how Sansar is not Second Life ;-)

I was just thinking "it's been a while since I heard anything about this Youtube video syncing". I've been busy with other projects lately, I could be wrong but I don't thinks it's implemented yet, Is it? Any news on this?
Hey Sanka, thanks for the longterm followup. Sorry, there hasn't been any movement on this. Most people in the interim who've wanted to sync things have used a YouTube livestream (as we did at the Monstercat and other concerts).
We continue to use a manual single-YT video sync tool for internal purposes, although it still doesn't work on playlists, and there's been numerous caveats on YouTube's end we've had to factor in, that we don't have control over. I wonder if there is any other external service that provides an equivalent functionality? Since at this point, it's more of a YouTube API than a Sansar thing.
