In a typical Windows multi-select list box, file explorer, and many other contexts, CTRL-click allows you to cherry pick a bunch of single items. And SHIFT-click will select all the items between your previous click and this new one, allowing for mass selection of items. I'd like this behavior in the Scene Objects list, too.
When I duplicate an item many times, its names are going to all be the same. When I want to delete them later, it would be handy to single click on the first item and then SHIFT-click on the last item to select all of them for deletion or to move them as a group.
