It's awesome that you can put a webpage up on a media surface. Unfortunately, I found that a YouTube stream with audio does not play its audio through the media surface. The video does play, though it is a lower frame rate than expected.
Ultimately, I'm looking forward to having multiple media sources for multiple media surfaces so I can show a webpage here, a video there, and so on.

To hear the audio associated with a YouTube URL, you also gotta setup a audio emitter object, either created inside the container of the media surface object (so it effectively belongs to its parent object) or independently, then switch Sound Source to Stream so it plays the corresponding audio of the video.
This is a change from earlier releases, where you'd set the audio in the Scene Settings, which was confusing.
Main reasons (as I understand it) why we haven't added multiple media surfaces yet are: (1) performance concerns and (2) complications of how multiple media surfaces interact with Global Illumination/lighting. It'd be cool for many purposes, though, for sure.
Dang. I forgot about this. There's still the Background Stream setting in Scene Settings. I set it, but that didn't cause the sound to play. Then I added an audio emitter and selected the "Media: HoverDerby" option I had configured. That didn't work, either.
To be sure, this is a YouTube stream with auto-play configured on a webpage. The webpage is what's set to the media URL. I see the page just fine. Perhaps this makes a difference.

What's the media surface URL? Do you want me to try it in a scene too and see if I can get the audio to play? Let me know what would help you here!
Totally my error. I left the volume at its default 30. When I cranked it up to 100, I could hear it.
