I cannot find the preference menu / options to set the audio device for VR and desktop mode. You cannot use the steamVR settings because the are wrong.
So how do you tell sansar what output device to use in VR ? Because microphone in VR is not the Vive one but just the line-in
Hey Richardus... right now it goes to "defaults". So, whatever you have your Windows desktop device set to for input/output, but it should switch to the Vive built-in mic in VR mode.
If it's not doing that, could be a bug. Other Vive users please chime in, because I don't have one handy to test at the moment, but it was switching as expected to/from my Rift's mic last I checked.
You may recall I previously mentioned there isn't preference options for this yet, but that will come. We wanted to make a quick and transparent way that generally works.
And BTW for anyone who wants to turn off auto-switching, add this to your Sansar shortcut line:
-audio.vrAutoSwitching false
No torley. it working this way.
My audio out need to switch between desktop and VR.
But the microphone always need to keep on my onboard line-in audio input.
Sansar never must change the line-in as long i cannot configure it. I need to try it tomorrow myself. but afraid it not fix things because there's no option to tell sansar what device to use for what hardware.

Ah sorry it doesn't work for your needs, Richardus, I can see how that's a problem if you want your audio input to not change to Vive's built-in mic.
Yeah, I'd disable autoswitching for now until we have preferences.

I cannot disable that by myself ?
