Maybe add some sound to the street walking, felt a little weird hearing my footsteps in the buildings but not outside.
Maybe some physics objects laying around too, something to interact with.

Not looked at all at physics stuff. Good hint to study on that to. But the problem is that you need a script then to get out of the chaos ?
I turned the street walk sound off. because you cannot set teh sound based on material. so on sand it sounds like stone. Then i choice for no sound right now. Hmm, i still forget to set that right.
Mabye at some point i replace the mesh terrain for real terrain. Then that sound problem is solved.
I think this is my learning experience to.

You really don't need a script at all to just make them physical.
For example, my free tic tac toe game on the market, there is a simple script that goes with it that you type ttt in local chat to reset them, but you could just as well leave that script out and let the pieces fly about with the user interaction too. It will naturally reset after X amount of time there are no visitors too.

thanks gindipple . I forgot that instances and turn off = reset. That is going to bite me for a while :)
You need to start somewhere. i have at least a meeting place now online that looks good and is not made from basic blocks ! I have a copy of the scene that i use to expand it later or change it.
For now i just need a break from this experience creating and look at other sansar things for a bit. Like the physical objects and scripts

..You used any transparent windows? I did find minor culling at back..the barrels near window...guessing its the window material..
No, i removed all glass faces long ago because the culling problem. the last time it got worse. And that is why i did start a topic about it. Now the devs can see it. It's really terrible. The windows not have blocking invisible faces. Other reason why i did wanted to have it published. it's talking more easy.

The cullinbg is not minor if you go the the building with the colored light upstairs and stay in the sofa corner looking outside. it's a "Poof" moment if you stay correct.

@augustine. No. i removed the materials from the building.
Upload it with the collision. Not make any difference. Sansar changed something in the culling that create conflicts everywhere. yesterday on 114 harvest i did see culling short to in VR just when i did rotate my head.
Now time to fix first the walk sound and barrels.

I now have it how i did planned it first. But at that moment not figured out how.
You can Play with the barrels now. That's going to be a mess.
I found one back later after playing with it on a strange place :P
The are mabye not perfect configured. i use pretty much default setting for now. Until i played in my sandbox with it more.
And fixed a few other small problems you always find after you think it's ok.
Loved your experience Richardus! i loved the subtle sounds of the birds and the sea. I am a sucker for ambiance! I tried to order a sammich but everyone appeared to be out....so i took a little ride in that sweet vehicle out back! i promise i didn't scratch it and i replaced the fuel i used!
