Are there "LinkedPrim" operations on Mesh component sub-parts ?

In SecondLife LSL scripts you can get the number of pieces in a compound object, and then walk through those pieces performing various actions on each one.

Is there a similar ability to manipulate the component hierarchy mesh pieces in a Sansar compound mesh object ?

- move or scale sub-items, etc (I know you cannot retexture yet within Sansar)
