Hi All,

I am playing around with the new media access in scripts and made an experience where you can visit and play some notes from a chord using the F1-F12 buttons. 

Others should be able to play along, and assuming you stay near 1 and 6, it might even sound half decent.

It's a trashy WIP sandbox at the moment, but later on I might clean it up, get some notes to fly around the world, etc

  Oh hey LGG! Thanks for sharing this! Neat stuff! I found it easier with the normal number keys, because some of the F-keys conflict with existing Sansar shortcuts.

  How did you do this? Is it like a YouTube video where different timecodes correspond to notes? Kind of a phat Moogy bass you got there.

  Anyway, I'm gonna share it around... keep it up! :D

  Hi Torley, love your icon, I can't tell you how disappointed I would be if it had any other colors.

  Yeah, we don't get many keys to bind to with a script, F keys give you two more notes, but the number keys don't have conflicts, so both it is.

  I got out a midi keyboard and recording myself playing a scale, then took each note, cropped it to fade out after a second, and uploaded them to Sansar to be used as parameters for a script.

  The script binds to the keyboard controls and uses the new ScenePrivate.PlaySound to trigger the corresponding note.

  
  Soon I will see if I can trick some 3d notes to appear floating away from people as they play..

  I've been hoping to see the very first musical instruments in Sansar... and here you are! So creative.

  Thanks, it could eventually, but right now it is limited to the hotkeys I could grab with a script listed here.

  Also, pardon the physics mess.. or crashes.. I am trying to set up a moving floor which enjoys to fight me.

  I think if Sansar can support midi files which are very lightweight then this script idea can take full potential for VR live performances/...
