Hello to all the new people we have seen joining over the last few days. It is great to see so many new faces.

I wanted to take a minute to say hi and tell you about a few exciting things going on right now.

First - we are running a pretty awesome contest this month - which you can read all about here. Over $36,000 in prizes, and many categories  to submit to. Please consider participating - and maybe even collaborating with other users to submit works!

Also, we are expanding our documentation on a regular basis, but there is still plenty of helpful documentation available about how to get started and learn the ropes of Sansar, here. 

We also hold weekly Office Hours and encourage you to join is! They are usually held on Fridays at 9:30 am and 4 pom. Our times and locations are shared here once they are scheduled, and past meeting notes are available for review here. 

Release notes are also documented here - where you can review past releases and see the work that has been done.

We are very excited to see what you create and bring into Sansar. Feel free to contact help@sansar.com if you have any issues, and share your Feature Requests and Bug Reports in the forums. Also, chat with other creators in the General Discussion forum.

  Thanks! Been in SL for almost a decade at this point, will look forward to exploring and providing feedback and any bug reports as I come across them. Looking forward to see the platform grow over time just like SL has and still does! :)

  Thanks for the warm welcome, Jenn, and hello to all the other recent arrivals! I was a little 'late to the party' with SL, and am so happy to be involved with Sansar at this early stage! 

  It's looking fantastic so far - I've had a good look around, and have played with uploading a few items. The creator contest sounds like an exciting idea, and I'll certainly look to join in with this! The documentation available is very useful, and it is great to see these forums and the in-world 'office hours' events to help the creator community connect! I'm looking forward to coming along on Friday :)

  It would be really helpful if you could make a google calender. Everyone then see the times in their specific timezone and can get remindet automaticly ;)

  Thanks for this warm welcome, quite eager to start on my first project.

  A little delay though, planned a vacation starting tomorrow.

  Hello Jenn, Hello happy Sansarians, I just received the invite and after only one night, I can feel how big and amazing is this new LL project!

  I m very glad to be a part of it at this time.

  A lot of things to do first, reading documentation and the posts in the forum, exploring the experiences and thinking about my contribution to the project.

  When can we expect a build where you can do more than kick pumpkins and giant checker pieces? I tried to find at least one example of interactivity outside of that and found nothing. How far off so I know when it's worth to come back and revisit?

  Holger Gilruth Yes it is a Open beta. They had creators in here working with it as far back as 2015. General availability was slated for sometime last year.
  Where are the interactive creator creations is what I am asking. I found so few examples and it was very hard to even find the most basic of things and only two builds that had some interactivity were plagued by limitations. I am sure it will be great eventually. It literally feels a year behind from where it should be. You can't even run or jump. Just stroll and awkwardly teleport

  When would we be able to expect a form where you can accomplish more than kick pumpkins and monster checker pieces? I attempted to find no less than one illustration of intelligence outside of that and don't tracked down anything. How far away so I realize when it's worth to return and return to?

I endeavored to see as something like one representation of insight outside of that and don't found anything. What distance away so I understand when it's worth to endlessly get back to?
