 I did nothing with the new material settings, do I have to now?

No textures, just plain jane 2 materials

  Hello,

  I'm having the same problem, I've spend a good part of the day trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong (before the big update it was working fine)

  A friend made some tests as well, to see if she was getting the same problem as me, and she does.

  So, I don't have the solution, but for sure, you are not alone :)

  I was able to texture before the update too, then I started thinking what am I doing so different now...

  Do you have by accident 2 UV-Maps in  the pin ?
  I know some other software that created this result if it did have 2 UV-Maps. (do not confuse it with UV-Map-Materials

  If you have 2 Uv-Maps, remove one and try again.

  not that I know of, it's blender, standard U, unwrap

  I was able to import a model with 2 materials and then apply the two different textures in the material editor.

  However, it flipped the nortmals so I had to flip them suckers back.

  Just a simple smart unwrap. It works.

  Ok, i've made some more tests today to try to understand what i was doing wrong.

  I Checked but there was no 2 uvs only one, then Chris gave me the idea to maybe remake my uv, so i redid it from scratch and i was able to fix my problem.

  I made a pic showing the UV before and after as well with the different results (before update/after update) i was getting.

  I'm not an expert at all (and also not an English native speaker) but i feel like if 1 mat (or color) overlap another in the way the UV is made, it messes up ?

  I don"t have time right now to make another test, but maybe, Gindipple you can test and see if it works for you?
