Apparently, the lock option stays active only for a session. The landscape/model lock option should carry over after saving your experience. When you have a lot of objects to manipulate, and start locking things down so you don't accidentally nudge them, it's crazy to load back your experience, only to find everything is unlocked again.
?? I not used lock. But i always expected if i lock things the stay locked. Seems am wrong. That need a fix.

Just wanted to test it, First problem i see. when i lock object and then want to save it. I cannot save it because it does not detect a lock as a change in the scene. So i now first need todo something else.
Now it's saved i jump to other scene and back.
The object is unlocked. Lock state does not get saved.
Just read it (I got my invite mid July). Interesting. Did you test it out after that response? I'm wondering if they did fix the issue at that time, but a later update broke it again. I know that could happen, too.
IF lock was fixed, it's on the fritz again, I can only lock while in session, when I log off and back in nothing is locked ;o/ I would like to request that we are able to check a box and then LOCK ALL. It's a royal PITA having to lock each and every item one at a time through the scene objects menu. Please fix this ASAP and if you can, please give us an option to LOCK ALL. Thanks.
Nope - not working. I just popped an object out on the field, locked it - tested to see if I could move it, and it wouldn't budge. Saved, went back in, and now I was able to freely move it anywhere. Oh, and hovering over the lock icon presented me with an option to "unlock" ? So basically, it thinks it's locked, but it's absolutely not. The locks only work if you don't save/exit to visit your experience. Once you do, all is lost.

Cara's response was on July 11, so I assumed it was fixed, and I've been locking land and objects thinking it stays locked. So I didn't really pay attention to it.
Hi all, sorry for the late reply. I rechecked this issue and it looks like it's back in Sansar. I'll move this to the bug reports section so it can be reported properly.
What i have noticed - it confused me, but didn't too much bother me - was that objects set as locked in the template would go back into lock when i would unlock them and save the scene. I imagine this behaviour has the same cause as this reported bug.
(you'ld find few such locked items in the Living Room Template Scene)
