Is there a glow script somewhere?

Gindipple No, you have to set this via a material map in the upload process
And for that, I'd search for some of the work done by the fine people doing more art stuff. There's some topics created on the materials upload.

Malakina um.. maybe you would have to explain what exactly you mean by glow. theoretically you get a glow by emission maps and post processing which already takes place in Sansar.. so depending on your emmision map, saved as EXR file and the emision value you got, you will get a glow effect. Do you intend to manipulate the emision value on an object after upload?

Kallah I have no idea what y'all are talking about LOL sorry. I mean *glow* like SL has ... ya pick glow and how much and voila! I'm not overly adept at blender yet so doing that "emmision map" bit is over my head.

Gindipple So the short answer is no.

Richardus Raymaker You need to use emissive map on your mesh object to generate the glow. Not sure if glow is right word. Best to make the emissive map and upload that as separate texture and add that to the fbx in the uploader.
Emmisive map is not more then a grey scale texture. black is no glow. and white is 100% glow or brightness. I need to play much more with it, but that's the basic how it worked for me.
You not need to use .EXR format. PNG file works fine !
other thread about it. https://help.sansar.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115018143583-Emisive-light-
This video explains it mabye best. But you can create that emmisive map in a paint program to if you have the UV oulines. It's not hard todo.

Malakina the emisive map also carries color information aside the intensity (grayscale). I never tried png since exr was suggested.. probably because exr also contain.. how to say.. a non visible gradient? so depending on the emmision intensity used, the result might look different. Its like a raw file..

Malakina I guess the best way to explain it is that with a exr file if you had a emmision value higher than 1, the emmision gradient can spread wider than with a value of 1

Azriel Drumheller You can use PNG just fine. I know what you mean about exr and light data, but emissive maps don't work like the HDRI sky domes. When you pick the emmisive shader on upload, at the very bottom there is a slider to change the brightness. By default its set at 3 so you get a value of over 1.

Malakina actually no. even 3 is the standard value at sansar its still brighter than 1. if you want to cancel out shadows, its still a value of 1 with the same colors like base color. Everything above 1 is HDRI, using emissive maps.

Malakina well.. top is png and bottom is exr.. there is a difference.. its suddle, but its there
