After messing with the feature, I got the video material to work.

Issues...

- orientation of the video on the mesh. I made a 16x9 plane in Blender but scaled it the wrong way innitially so the video played turned to the right 90 degrees. Corrected that but had it 180 degrees out, no biggie just rotate in editor when placing.

- full page. Could not work out how to get just the video to display. As is, it displays the whole top of the You Tube page. As I understand, embedding is how to show just the video screen, but this only asks for a URL.

-upload video to content. Would it be possible to upload videos to your content so that it references only that video file instead of a web page?

  Live video stream not tested yet and possibly won't be synced for every guest arriving..

  My video where also 180 degree wrong after i fixed that in blender. Seems i did it right.

  Okay, success, again!

  Thank you Agustine, that link works full screen.

  The first attempt was with a plane that worked.

  Then tried to model a basic monitor abd apply the video to the center face, no work.

  Went back to a simple plane, it worked.

  Yeah, me too, had to adjust as it was 180 degrees out.

  I just put it back on a plane then position in front of the "case".

  Richardus,

  Finally got my video to play correctly, but I ened up using the link Agustine posted and changed the video ID once I determined what it is.

  https://www.youtube.com/embed/_4dlOhlGtEU?autoplay=1&loop=1&playlist=_4dlOhlGtEU&vq=hd2160

   Use this address, just replace the bold with your own video ID.

  It now loops and has audio! Had to increase the db, its at 10 now, a touch loud.

  Need to make sure you have the correct ID for the video.

  Will it play my video if you use the posted url? Unbold and italic and try it.

  Mixxer listed a tv in the store for free, works fine.

  I'm sure somebody can nail down from that what the standard format that works for us should be. I personally don't know how to add those various items together into something that works.

  My own scene's media URL is currently:

  This represents me playing with a combination of a ton of the features listed on that link you posted to try to hide all youtube buttons and branding and just have the video by itself.

   

  Broken down to just a simple, looping video, it would look like this:

  https://www.youtube.com/embed/ojYK6CW8gdw?autoplay=1&loop=1&playlist=ojYK6CW8gdw

   

  or... https://www.youtube.com/embed/VIDEO_ID?autoplay=1&loop=1&playlist=VIDEO_ID

   

  Note that for a single video to loop, you  have to add the video ID again after playlist=

   

  I also exported a mesh face which is unwrapped to use only [approximately] the center half of the texture face, to eliminate the black bars.

  I also noticed in my experimenting that the video will play on top of the texture assigned to the mesh face (you can faintly see in the above screenshot a roof texture behind the video) and that solid black areas in the video act as transparent, and will clearly show your background texture through, beneath the video! I found that kind of cool :)

  This style of formatting may help someone out there, instead of embedding a specific video to begin with, replace that part with a the generic word: videoseries

  like this:

  https://www.youtube.com/embed/videoseries?autoplay=1&loop=1&list=ChangeToYourPlayListCodeHere&allowfullscreen=1&controls=0

  remember to tack on the fullscreen & no-controls tags at the end

  The benefit of this is that you won't need to keep republishing your scene to update the starting video in your playlist (it's all done on youtube instead) and it will work even if you're just looping a single video.

  Have you tried installing the free K-lite Codec pack ( https://www.codecguide.com/ )

  also try installing Adobe Flash that's not the auto downloaded one but manually chosen for "other browsers"

  ( http://www.macworld.co.uk/download/audio-video-photo/adobe-flash-player-other-browsers-2600137-274/ )

  EDIT: a better link: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

  I found that's always worked for me to get video working when it was broken in SL - it might help here too (fingers crossed)

  Hi it would be nice to be able to just copy and paste the video url in instead of typing it in by hand lol is that possible? but it did work need to make it full video using the other link chuckles .

  Ctrl-C (copy)  and Ctrl-P (paste) does not work on your system ?
  That is how i copy and paste the url.

  Are multiple vidoes possible yet?

  I went to the NASA Saturn exp and they have different videos playing.
