Richardus Raymaker Oh good. i just wanted to post a bug. because it's not working here. I do not get the properties in the scene properties editor. The talk about on the blog page https://help.sansar.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003259666
I made object in blender. Assigned material,
Textures and a small 256px image it.
Made seams and UV-Unwrapped it.In the uploader i did set the material settings to "Videoscreen". Save settings and upload it.
Placed the object in my scene.
The clicked properties of the object.
But this is my result. and as far i see every step is done correct. -
Agustine hi Richardus, go to scene settings on viewer to add youtube address... try https://www.youtube.com/embed/mu7VsNOf4GA?autoplay=1&loop=1

Richardus Raymaker Ohh Scene settings !
That's a weird place to do that.
It seems you can only set one media url / experience ?I expected also you set the URL in the video player object.
I see problems in using it, because you only use it on one place in the experience. because you need to set the sound player source location. default 0,0,0 and that did confuse me a bit while i did know what happens.Let's say it's a basic implementation and already happy with that. But expect that the move the url to the object properties and that you can have more players. and that the use the player screen as default playback coordinate.
Just hope we can have more screens with different video's in the future.
It works anyway now ! And i like it anyway to !

Agustine Went through that already.... no success.. even went to experiences with working videos..still no success..all black...a number of other people are having same issue... outside sansar works fine but not inside..
-
Garth Hi Agustine, The help document seemed to work for me. Are you still having issues?
-
Agustine Not working here... in other words... streaming is not visible, not even in someone else's experience...

Ryan Schultz I want to report the same problem that Agustine is having. I just did an install of the Sansar client on my work computer, and I can confirm that video surfaces are not playing videos in any experience I visit. I know the videos work because I have visited the experiences on my home computer (e.g. NASA Apollo experience, the new Creator Academy experience). I just get a blank screen.

Ryan Schultz I'm running Windows 10 64-bit on an Intel Xeon CPU W3550 @3.07 GHz with 24 GB RAM which should be more than enough to run the software. But the recommended system specs page for Sansar says: "Intel i5-4590 equivalent or greater" and I was wondering if the Xeon CPU was less powerful than an i5 CPU. Anybody online who can weigh in on this question? SNOW on the Discord channel said that it was not enough and I wanted to confirm this.
My graphics card is listed as "AMD FirePro V5900 (FireGL V) Graphics Adapter".
-
Ryan Schultz Well I just ran the Oculus Compatibility Check and I got the results. Both the CPU and GPU are not powerful enough for the Oculus Rift. Back to the drawing board..... Man I am pissed off at my IT department. They were supposed to provide me with a powerful enough PC to run Sansar and the Oculus Rift/Touch.
-
Richardus Raymaker Oh ryan. But IT department and budget are a bad combination. Get the idea that to reused some old system.
Looking at this page a GF1050TI is kicking that graphics card from every side.
http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1050-Ti-vs-AMD-FirePro-V5900-FireGL-V/3649vsm10203Not that i would use a GF1050Ti card for VR
And the CPU is not better to.
http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Xeon-W3550-vs-Intel-Core-i7-4770So yes, the oculus tool is complete right.
Did the ever investigated what hardware is required ofr it ?
Do the know what oculus rift is ? :OGood luck ryan.
